After a long, frigid winter cooped up inside, both you and your kids are going to be itching to get out of the house. While spring can be a fantastic season for outdoor activities, it’s always best to be prepared when it comes to weather. As Mark Twain said, “In the spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside of 24 hours.” Here’s a few staples to keep you ready for any budding adventure!

Rain Boots

The last thing you want is to have to pack up and head home a few minutes into your outdoor play plans. Without rain boots that could happen! Instead, let your kids enjoy splashing in the rain puddles. Rubber rain boots will help to protect your little one’s feet and lower legs from rain, mud, and sleet. No one likes wet feet!

Rain Coats

A slight chance of light rain shouldn’t stop you from letting your children play. Keeping your kids warm and dry on a rainy day is made easy with a lightweight raincoat.

Additional Layers

You never know when the warm glow of the sun may disappear behind clouds. It’s always a good idea to keep a sweater, cardigan, or lightweight jacket packed away for outdoor adventures. Adding layers will help your child maintain their core body temperature, and most importantly keep them comfortable!

There’s a hat for all seasons! It’s essential to keep your baby’s head warm, dry, and protected from the sun during any time of the year. You’re guaranteed to have a more contented child - whether that’s a bonnet, cap, dress, or casual hat.
